DC Universe beta hits PS3

Sony said earlier this week that PS Plus subscribers would be getting access to DC Universe Online's beta "soon", and that time has now arrived.

"The download is being added to the Plus section of PlayStation Store as we speak," PSN product manager James Thorpe writes on the PS Blog.

"Due to the scale of the game, this Beta Trial will require approximately 15GB of free Hard Disk Drive (HDD) space, and can take an average of 3-4 hours to download, or potentially longer depending on your broadband internet connection. It will definitely be worth it though."

Back in October, the action MMO was delayed from November 2010 to an unspecified date in 2011, a move SOE said will allow it "to address community feedback in a meaningful way".
