Tech World Donating To Japanese Earthquake Relief

Written By Tech-Beever on Monday 14 March 2011 | 16:34

The world of tech is funny, although it brings many wondrous gadgets our way, it's also a finicky business. So it's heart warming to see the big hitters banding together in times of need.
Nintendo is giving 300 million yen, Sega Sammy is donating 200 million yen, Namco Bandai is giving 100 million yen, Temco Koei gave a 10 million yen donation to the Japanese Red Cross and also announced they are taking donations from employees and the general public.

Sony group have donated 300 million yen and a technological donation of 30,000 radios.

Some developers are also donating funds made from various iOS apps.

If you'd like to help in any way, head to the British Red Cross, or if you're reading in America, head to the American Red Cross.

From everyone here at Tech Beever, we send all our wishes and sympathy to those that have been affected by the Tsunami and the devastation that has occurred over in Japan.
