The Week In Beever

It's been a while since we had a Week In Beever post, and to be honest, we've not
been the most punctual with posts as of late, so apologies!
Things are, for myself, finally starting to slow down. You see, my finance and I are buying a house, and it's been one hell of a stress ride. Now, 180 hours overtime later, we are back on course with the whole shibang, and now, hopefully in 8-12weeks time, we'll be painting our new home.

Seeing as we have everything else furniture wise, I finally managed to convince her that we should get a new TV to celebrate the purchase of our new family home, and after convincing myself it was OK to downgrade from a 50" to a 47", we both settled on the new LED LG 47LW450U Cinema 3D series, much to my now almost serial killer esque grin.

However, as our bed is, well, uncomfortable as hell, we've had to postpone the new love screen to first buy a new bed, so, next week may not be the day my soon-to-be-beloved LG is purchased, but instead it's looking more like October. Still, it'll hopefully be in time to enjoy Uncharted 3 in 3D when it lands in November! And the rats now have a TV stand as a table; tech savvy all around!

So, what's been going on other than our twisted version of 60 Minute Make-Over? Well, you may have noticed the slow rise of our comic reviews, which we initially launched last year, but as the site has gone through a lot of changes, there hasn't been time to really get behind the idea. Now, however, we're bringing the reviews back, starting with the latest comics the minute they land through our door, so if you're a comic fan, keep your eyes peeled!

If you follow my reviews from the critically acclaimed BlogCritics, you'll have seen my latest review was on Cars 2: The VideoGame, which although I really didn't think I'd enjoy -- I genuinly did! Check it out here.

We was hoping to bring you a Deus Ex: Human Revolution review this week, but we're unsure as to whether our review copy will get here on time, so fingers crossed!
